If you love fall & cute humans, you’re going to LOVE Mackenzie + Brandon’s fall engagement photos in west Michigan!! Being a Michigan wedding photographer is seriously the biggest honor ever – I feel like I say it alllll the time.

 

 

Why Have Fall Engagement Photos Taken?

 

You guyssss. Fall engagement photos in Michigan are a DREAM come true. West Michigan is absolutely stunning in the fall. You’ve got the woods, beaches, grassy fields, amazing sunsets. . . what more could you ask for?! I was sooo happy I got to photograph Mackenzie + Brandon in the fall because WOW the scenery we got was amazing.

 

 

We started their engagement session at one of my fave spots in the woods with tall, super cool dead trees. It’s such a great spot because it’s a simple, plain background that lets my couples SHINE, but still manages to look so beautiful in photos!! After the woods, we hit up a nearby grassy field that was surrounded by trees showing off AMAZING fall colors. You probably already know how much I love neutral colors, so fall oranges + yellows are my jam!

 

Then we went straight to the beach, which I’ll talk about more in just a minute if you keep on readin’.

Michigan is SO versatile in terms of location. We made sure to take advantage of that with Mackenzie + Brandon! Beach engagement photos are some of my absolute favs. You’ve got the sand, huge logs, trees along the coastline, and obviously the ocean! There is so much you can do with beach engagement photos – relax by the water, take a swim (maybe hold off till the summertime for that one!), have a picnic or a campfire, or just take a romantic sunset stroll in the sand. The possibilities are endless!!
