Olivia & Ty’s small backyard wedding

 

These two celebrated their love with a wonderfully simple, yet SUPER fun day!! It was ALL at their own house that they’re remodeling – how cool is that right?!

 

 

The whole day was very family-oriented – in the photos below you can see just how many nieces and nephews they have! It was so cool witnessing their families celebrating together.

 

 

After getting ready at the house, we headed to a super cool location in Grand Rapids with huge sand mounds and giant rocks for some portraits. Olivia’s bridesmaids wore the most gorgeous pale pink bridesmaids’ dresses, and Ty’s groomsmen rocked dark navy blue suits with light brown/tan shoes. 

 

 

Their color palette looked AMAZING against the neutral, beige backdrop of this location, and we had so so much fun taking their wedding party photos + portraits of the two of them!! The photos of Olivia + Ty under Olivia’s veil are some of my top fave shots everrrrr.

 

 

Olivia’s wedding dress

 

I wanted to highlight Olivia’s BEAUTIFUL backyard wedding dress real quick. Just because you’re having a small, maybe “simpler” backyard wedding doesn’t mean you can’t go all out with your dress!!

 

 

She wore a gorge tank top/spaghetti strap dress that featured lace all across the top, a small fringe on the edges, and a fun little cutout on her stomach. The bottom was full of super fluffy tulle that just looked stunningggg every time she made any movement – I love form-fitting tops with flowy bottoms sooo much!!

 

 

And a fun fact real quick about Olivia – she started her own biz at 13. Yes, THIRTEEN!! She’s always been so creative, so I knew that every detail of the wedding would be stunning – and it was! You can check out her beautiful art + design work on her Instagram + Etsy shop!
